THE RISE AND FALL OF THE BROWN BUFFALO

"He Wrote a Letter of Resignation to Jesus"

Working on this documentary was a blast! Everyone was very welcoming and fun to work with. The day my part was filmed, I arrived at a large Spanish style building in central Los Angeles that had a cozy and familial feel. Everything was done on green screen and Phillip, the director, was great to work with. Our time went so fast, I was sad to leave. The documentary explores Oscar Zeta Acosta's life who was a Chicano Activist, writer and lawyer who fought for the Chicano movement in the 60's and 70's until he mysteriously disappeared. The Rise and Fall of the Brown Buffalo originally aired on PBS and is now available on DVD or streaming.
